"Thank you so much JobsByFax and Matt Saunders for helping me with the little technical issues. The first week I had no response, and I was a little more skeptical about this approach than I was previously. However the following week I had about 40 to 50 responses, some by email, a small percentage by phone. Although, there was no opportunities at the time several companies liked my resume and wanted to keep it for future opportunities. Some companies even referred me to other companies that might be hiring. I was a little amazed, however I did not land a position yet. Then the mail started to flow in. I got hundreds of mail sent to my address, although most stated they didn't have an opportunity for me or not in my field. I was a little disappointed by the end of the month. I wrote Matt back and asked him about the guarantee for re-faxing my resume and cover letter. He gave me a new code and I re-faxed my resume and cover letter. Same thing. First week nothing. Following the second week tons of replies. Within those 3,000 or so companies, one called me back and was very impressed with my credentials and wanted to meet me. I didn't think I had a chance since I knew very little about the organization. However, I went in for the initial interview, and did an outstanding job. I was later called for the second interview and now I will be starting on June 1st. The amazing thing was that my resume had come in way late, but by fax so it got to the hiring managers desk. I was the last candidate, and they had already picked the final 3 candidates. My resume and cover letter just came in at the last second, and upon review was good enough to elicit interest. I just want to let everyone know that JobsByFax will get your foot in the door, if you research and proof your resume and cover letter to be attractive, professional, and truthful. Don't give up especially in this economy we are experiencing. Do the homework, dot every "i" and cross every "t," and most importantly practice the interview with someone or with yourself.
